Ms. Ross represents and advises companies in matters involving product compliance with a number of regulatory standards, including those of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the California Air Resources Board (CARB), United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC). In addition, Ms. Ross advises clients on matters involving insurance coverage and insurance defense litigation. She defends companies based upon an analysis of policy language and the nature of the claim.

Ms. Ross has successfully negotiated with state and federal agencies, as well as international firms in securing the following results:

  • A settlement with the EPA and the United States Department of Justice arising from allegations of the importation of non-compliant products;
  • Securing excess insurance coverage after a full reservation of rights issued by an insurer;
  • Negotiating regulatory matters with CBP for the importation of non-compliant products; and
  • Overseeing and implementing environmental compliance plans.
