The Labor and Employment group of Wegman, Hessler & Vanderburg

and other disputes before the National Labor Relations

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”), the
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), Ohio Civil
Rights Commission (“OCRC”) and other state civil rights

ever growing panoply of so-called employee “protective”
statutes, including the Family Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”),
Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), affirmative action
obligations, the plant closing law (“WARNA”), the Employee
Polygraph Act (“EPPA”), the Mental Health Parity Act (“MHPA”),
the Fair Labor Standards Act or wage hour law (“FLSA”),
veteran’s protective statutes, Department of Transportation
requirements on employers, the Equal Pay Act (“EPA”) and
various and sundry other laws and regulations.

Counseling and advice in employee discipline, sexual
