Prenuptial Agreements

A prenuptial agreement is a legal contract between a couple engaged to be married.  It is best to negotiate the terms of the agreement and to have the document signed well in advance of your anticipated wedding date.  A prenuptial agreement is a useful tool in helping couples outline how they would like to divide their assets in the event of the death of one of the spouses, or a divorce. 

It is very important that full disclosure of all assets and debts be made in the prenuptial agreement, and that each spouse has enough time to review and understand the terms of the contract.
